I gave them 4 stars because of the bed… I as a very firm and cheap mattress….. but the rest is the room was super nice, comfortable and clean! Everything is freshly remodeled and looks/feels amazing. 10/10 would stay here again despite the mattresses
A good hotel stay: Has a nice looking pool with waterslide which is available to hotel guests (but also public passes are available for purchase). Wifi was very fast (96 mbps download/20 mbps upload). Our tub (room 112) would not hold water. There is a restaurant in the same building (convenient). Breakfast was included and was excellent: hot food choices included omelets, sausage and french toast, there was a waffle maker, bread products, cereals, yogurt juices and more. All kept very clean and topped up. Price for a weekday in late September 2025 was about $100 USD before tax.
We stayed here for Wednesday night and Thursday night of our trip. Hotel is north of downtown Prairie Du Chien, just north of Cabela's. Very quiet location. Hotel has a great policy of taking a credit card for incidentals but not pre-authorizing a set amount. Is very helpful not to eat up other vacation funds for incidentals we do not accumulate. 2 Queen Room was fine for the 3 of us, Beds were firm enough. Pool area is very nice. They have a kids water park area with a big water slide (slide in use only when Lifeguard on duty). Hot tub was great and water basketball was good shooting. They do have a food and drink window accessible from the pool area if you would like with reasonable prices. If we need a few nights in PDC we will consider here again! Thank you!
Terrific stay. Kids loved the pool. Was impressed by the lifeguards at a hotel pool. Room was clean and tidy. Staff was out doing landscaping work making the place look even better. Will certainly stay here again this winter or fall!
Went for a mini vacation. My children were at the mini water park more than the room. The waterslide is surprisingly fast. Good breakfast and all around a great time!
A group of us spent a long weekend at this location on a motorcycle ride, and we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, and location was perfect for what we needed. What truly made our stay stand out, though, was the staff- especially Mary and Deb. We learned they've been with this hotel for quite some time, and it really shows in the way they treat guests. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, were incredibly accommodating, and even took the time to have several great conversations with us. Their hospitality made such an impression that we would return just because of the excellent service they provided.
Nice clean and quiet hotel. Has a hot tub and a wonderful splash park for the kids to play in. The pool is more focused on the kids than the adults. It is only 3 foot deep. They serve a hot breakfast in the morning. There is a pub and grill attached to it also. Cabelas is right next to it. Just a short 2 minute walk to shop.
This hotel has the amenities I enjoy. Beds were good, it was really clean! The breakfast could have had a few more options, but then again I was there on a weekday after a weekend, so it may have just been a timing thing. I will certainly go back.
